Transience by Amy Hollowell

after Decadence by Nick Urban

Unveil the eyes
and bearded lips

a thigh, crazed thumb and index
to the wild line

still sculpting the longgone
sky.

Can I just say, Amy's a kick-ass poet. It's true, isn't it? This is fun, taking the minimal of someone else and finding a lovely minimal response poem. Ping! Just snaps at ya, doesn't it. Thanks for this! Jen
